Brisk Thicket emerged from a straightforward observation: talented gardeners existed everywhere, yet quality horticultural education remained inaccessible to many. Traditional courses demanded substantial time commitments, geographic proximity to teaching gardens, and significant financial investment.

Founded in 2018, our organisation set out to democratise garden design education through carefully structured online programmes. We assembled a faculty of practising professionals, each bringing decades of hands-on experience cultivating gardens across diverse climates and contexts.

Today, our courses reach students throughout the United Kingdom and beyond, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to transform their relationship with the outdoor spaces they tend.
